LSAW Pipe (Longitudinal Submerged Arc-Welding Pipe), DSAW pipe (Double Submerged Arc Welded Steel Pipe), Both of them are made of Steel raw materials by Arc Welding way which take the steel plate as raw material, mold it by the molding machine, then do double-sided submerged arc welding. Through this process, the LSAW steel pipe will get excellent ductility, weld toughness, uniformity, plasticity and great sealing.
Applications of LSAW Pipes
It has been widely applied in the oil and gas pipelines, specially which requires large diameter and thick wall pipe with high strength and long distance.
Meanwhile LSAW pipe uses in construction of structure that needs tough strength, water treatment, thermal industry, bridge building, etc. According API specifications, the LSAW pipe is specially designated in large scaled oil and gas transportation, in the cases that pipeline goes across the city, sea, and the urban area. These are the class 1 and class 2 areas.According to different molding methods
JCOE welded pipe: it is according to the process of "J-C-O-E" pre-welding, forming, cold-expanding after welding;
The main technical parameters of LSAW (straight seam submerged arc welded pipe) are as follows:
Wall thickness: 6.4-23.8mm (0.252-0.94in) in X80 steel grade and 6.4-26.4mm (0.252-1.04in) in X70 steel grade. The wall thickness can be increased to varying degrees as the material is lowered.
Product standard: ISO3183-3, API Spec 5L PSL1/PSL2, GB9711, ASTM A500,ASTM A252 NZS/AS 1163 EN 10219 EN 10217 etc.

The steel pipe can be up to 18m long and the wall thickness is 6.4-100mm at the normal steel grade.Main features of LSAW pipe
1) The steel pipe has a longitudinal weld, and the inner and outer welds are welded by a submerged arc welding.
2) After the overall mechanical expansion treatment, the internal stress of the steel pipe is small and evenly distributed, which can effectively prevent stress corrosion cracking, high dimensional accuracy, and is convenient for on-site welding construction.
3) Using the process of pre-weld after-welding, the welding process is stable and the weld quality is high.
4) Welds are easy to achieve non-destructive testing during production and non-destructive testing in the field during use.

Plate edge milling machine
The milling machine mills the two sides of the plate to exacting standards in order to meet width, edging and groove shape specifications.Edge crimping machine
The crimping machine crimps the edges of the plate to form the required curvature.Tack welding machine
The two edges of the open seam pipe are brought together by the tack welding machine. then welded by the tack welder using a metal active - gas arc welding("MAG" )process.Forming machine
