- ASTM A53 Grade A contains Carbon ≤0.25%, Manganese ≤0.95%, Phosphorus ≤0.05%, Sulfur ≤0.045%; ASTM A53 Grade B features higher manganese content (0.95%-1.20%) and stricter impurity control.
- BS1387 & EN10219 grades adopt low-carbon formula (Carbon ≤0.22%), ensuring excellent welding performance.
- All grades adopt pure low-carbon steel without harmful alloy elements, featuring stable metallurgical structure.
Physical & Mechanical Properties
- ASTM A53 Grade A pipe has yield strength ≥205MPa, tensile strength 330-415MPa, with superior ductility (elongation ≥30%), suitable for bending and secondary processing; ASTM A53 Grade B pipe owns higher yield strength ≥240MPa and tensile strength 415-540MPa, with stronger pressure resistance and load-bearing capacity.
