EN 10217-2 focuses on Electric welded non‑alloy and alloy steel tubes with specified elevated temperature properties, with P195GH/P235GH/P265GH/16Mo3 as the core steel grades. It meets different safety requirements through TC1/TC2 classification and is the core European standard for selecting high-temperature pipelines in power plants, chemical, and boiler industries. It complements EN 10216-2 (seamless steel pipes) and covers the high-temperature pressure requirements of welded processes.
